My second acoustic was a piece of wood just waiting to become a guitar. I bought a plank of Honduran Rosewood without a project in mind. It eventually ended up stashed under my bed for 10 years. After finishing guitar #1, my best friend wanted one too. When I asked him what kind of wood, he said “what about that chunk of wood under your bed?”
